PURPOSE OF THE MARCHING BAND
The
purpose of this course is to provide a positive and challenging musical
experience that enables each student to reach his or her potential as
an instrumentalist. The objectives of this class are as follows:
1. To provide a musical experience of the highest possible caliber for the participant.
2. To provide Lexington High School with a group
that represents it at a consistently
high level.
3. To provide entertainment and school spirit at any of the events that it attends.
